Union Minister Kishan Reddy has written a formal letter to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. In the letter, he stated that he will not be participating in the state’s Praja Palana Dinotsavam (Good Governance Day) celebrations.

Kishan Reddy criticized the event, describing it as an attempt to distract the public and change historical facts. He believes that the event is not appropriate and does not align with important historical events.

The Union Minister highlighted that the central government is officially observing Vimochana Dinotsavam (Liberation Day), which marks the integration of Hyderabad into the Indian Union. He urged the state government to focus on this day instead of Praja Palana Dinotsavam.

Kishan Reddy also made it clear that he does not want to be part of a celebration that, in his view, fails to recognize the importance of Vimochana Dinotsavam.
