Telangana Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy recently shared his concerns about the Godavari-Banakacharla project during a media session. This followed his discussions with Union Minister CR Patil for Jal Shakti in Delhi. Reddy pointed out that local farmers and residents have significant worries about the project. He conveyed these to the Union Minister, who promised to consider them seriously.

Reddy stressed the need for a quick decision from the Krishna Tribunal. He suggested exploring the Ichchampalli-Nagarjunasagar link to move water from the Penna Basin. Telangana is open to discussions on this proposal.
