In Hyderabad, Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy criticized BRS leader T Harish Rao for challenging a Judicial Commission report. He suggested that the BRS leaders are so worried that they are now questioning the Commission’s abilities.
The Minister accused the Kalvakuntla family of cheating the people of Telangana, leading to a financial loss of lakhs of crores for the government. He stated that the family pushed forward the Kaleshwaram project without cabinet approval and lacks the moral authority to discuss the issue.
Uttam Kumar Reddy claimed that BRS has a pattern of disrespecting democratic institutions. He argued that they show no respect for legislatures or courts and lack trust in the judiciary. Even a Judicial Commission led by a retired Supreme Court judge is being questioned by them. He noted that despite the lessons from the last Assembly elections, BRS has not changed its approach and continues to boast instead of apologizing to the four crore citizens.
He further stated that the Judicial Commission has exposed the deceptive nature of BRS leaders. The government only shared parts of the report by Justice PC Ghosh Commission. Harish Rao seems to forget that the report wasn’t written by Revanth Reddy or Uttam Kumar Reddy.
