Karimnagar witnessed vibrant Vanmahotsav celebrations at St George International School (CBSE) on Tuesday. The event began with Karimnagar Police Commissioner Goush Alam planting a sapling, symbolizing the occasion’s theme.
He spoke to the students about the vital role trees play in sustaining life. He urged everyone to contribute by planting and caring for trees and highlighted the importance of safeguarding the environment and natural resources.
Following his address, police officers provided students with insights into cybercrime and shared safety tips, especially for girls. This program aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and encourage tree planting.
School Chairman Dr. P Fatima Reddy also stressed the significance of tree planting in maintaining nature’s balance. He motivated everyone to take part in planting and nurturing saplings.
The event saw the presence of Karimnagar Rural CI A. Niranjan Reddy, Prohibition and Excise CI Pullaiah, Women Police Station CI Srilatha, Cybercrime CI G. Srinivas, SI Kothapalli Sanjeev garu, and school principals Bhargav and Priyadarshini, along with teachers and students.
