VH criticizes Deputy CM for impeding his chances in selecting Khammam seat

Senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao criticized Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka for obstructing his chances of being selected as the party candidate for the Khammam Lok Sabha constituency in the upcoming elections. Hanumantha Rao expressed his disappointment with Vikramarka’s actions, claiming that they were intentionally harming his prospects.

Despite maintaining a good relationship with Vikramarka in the Congress party, Hanumantha Rao was surprised by the obstruction he faced during the candidate selection process. He mentioned that he had been previously promised a party ticket from Khammam but was ultimately overlooked during the final decision-making.

Hanumantha Rao called on Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to intervene and ensure justice for him. He refuted claims that he was not a local candidate for Khammam, pointing out that past representatives from the district had also come from outside the area.
