    Gadwal: Members and leaders of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal held a protest in front of the District Collector’s office today. They were protesting against what they say are increasing attacks on Hindus in West Bengal.

    The protestors accused the West Bengal government of not taking proper action to stop violence between communities. They claimed that the state authorities are ignoring the safety of Hindus. Many held signs and shouted slogans demanding justice and protection.

    A team from the VHP and Bajrang Dal gave a petition to the District Collector. The petition, addressed to the President of India, listed incidents of violence and asked the Central Government to take urgent action, including the imposition of President’s Rule in West Bengal.

    Leaders at the protest said they would continue their movement until justice is done and Hindus in West Bengal feel safe. They warned that if the government does not act, they would start protests across the country in support of the victims.

    The protest ended peacefully. Police and district officials were present to maintain order. Authorities confirmed they received the petition and promised to send it to higher officials for further action.
