Yadadri Bhuvanagiri: Dr. Lavu Rattaiah, Chairman of Vignan Educational Institutions, stressed the importance of lifelong learning for student success. He believes that education should be enjoyable, not stressful.
On Monday, the Deshmukhi campus of Vignan’s University in Bhoodan Pochampally mandal welcomed new B.Tech students. Many students and their parents attended the opening ceremony.
Dr. Rattaiah expressed gratitude to parents for choosing Vignan and congratulated the new students. He introduced the university’s distinctive “Five-Point Formula,” which includes a Faculty Development Program, a Planning-Training-Communication System, a Counseling System, CRT Classes, and Innovative Teaching Methods. This approach has led to excellent student placements and success.
He noted that 75% of Vignan’s students have secured jobs in multinational companies.
Dr. Rattaiah mentioned that the curriculum now includes physical fitness credits to support students’ well-being. The university also promotes cultural and social activities to enhance communication and teamwork skills. Rather than just focusing on exams, students are encouraged to prepare for real-life situations.
To support student development, the university assigns one faculty mentor to every 20 students to track their progress and uncover their potential.
