The GHMC Council meeting in Hyderabad turned chaotic as BRS and BJP Corporators clashed. BRS members demanded Mayor Vijayalakshmi to prove her majority support or step down from her position.

During the meeting, MIM and BJP Corporators also engaged in a verbal argument regarding city development. The situation escalated when BJP and BRS members began creating a disturbance by displaying placards and shouting slogans against each other.

Despite warnings from the Chair, the chaos continued as the two groups pushed and shoved each other. The Corporators also raised concerns about the lack of safe drinking water in their colonies.

Mayor Vijayalakshmi tried to restore order by appealing for silence, but her efforts were unsuccessful. In a last-ditch attempt to regain control, she called Water Board MD Ashok Reddy to attend the meeting, but he declined due to personal reasons.
