Former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli thanked the fans after his team won against Lucknow Super Giants in a low-scoring game on Monday. However, what happened after the match was not so great as Kohli got into an argument with LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir on the field. Kohli later posted on social media calling the win “amazing” and thanking the fans for their support.

Kohli also said in a video shared by RCB that the team received more support than the home side, which showed how much they were loved. Kohli, Gambhir, and Naveen-ul-Haq were fined for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct. The fines were 100% of their match fees for Kohli and Gambhir, and 50% for Naveen-ul-Haq.
