Wanaparthy: On Monday, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) members, led by Satharla Arjun from Gadwal district, visited the government girls polytechnic in Pebbair mandal.

Velpula Raj Kumar, the ABVP Telangana region hostels convener, pointed out that the girls’ hostel was completed three years ago but still hasn’t opened. The building is now deteriorating and covered with wild plants. He urged the local MLA and officials to explain to students why the hostel remains closed.

He called on BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar to take immediate action and inaugurate the hostel to ensure students receive fair treatment. He also warned that if this issue isn’t resolved soon, protests will follow. State executive members Shivakumar, Shiva, and Sharath attended the visit.
