Dr. Kadiyam Kavya, a Member of Parliament, met with Union Health Minister J P Nadda in Delhi on Thursday. She asked him to speed up the process of opening a CGHS Wellness Centre in Warangal. The minister agreed and promised to work on inaugurating the center soon.

Many Central government employees, pensioners, and their families live in Warangal. Without a nearby CGHS facility, they must travel to Hyderabad or other cities for medical care. This situation is especially hard for the elderly and those with chronic illnesses.

Although the government approved a CGHS Centre in Warangal, it hasn’t opened yet. This delay continues to inconvenience employees and pensioners in the area.
