Hyderabad: Ashok Reddy, the Managing Director of the Hyderabad Water Board, visited the Kondapaka pumping station on Tuesday. This station is a key part of the Godavari Drinking Water Supply Project, which provides drinking water to Hyderabad.

During his visit, Ashok Reddy asked officials to make sure there are no interruptions in the water supply, especially during the summer when demand is high. He told them to stay alert and ensure that water is pumped without any breaks.

He also directed them to set up an online system to monitor the water supply from the source to the city. A new flow meter will soon be installed at Yellampally to measure how much water is being sent to the city. This data will be tracked automatically at the head office.
