Rangareddy district is facing difficulties due to the implementation of the Lok Sabha Election Code. Residents are finding it hard to make cash transactions for wedding preparations. Buying things like bridal wear, booking function halls, and purchasing gold jewelry has become challenging.

Even though there is a push for digital payments, many merchants such as gold dealers, function hall managers, catering companies, and hotels still prefer cash transactions because of tax implications. Families getting ready for weddings are feeling financial pressures due to restrictions on online payments and increased scrutiny of cash transactions.

Police are conducting inspections and checking individuals carrying more than Rs 50,000 in cash, causing people to be worried and requiring detailed documentation to explain their cash holdings. The scrutiny also affects other aspects of daily life, like hospital visits, making things more complicated. Challenges with online payments persist in sectors like function halls and agriculture, where cash transactions are more practical due to administrative hurdles.

During police inspections, it is important for individuals to have proper documentation like bank withdrawal records and purchase intentions to avoid any legal issues. Balancing regulatory demands with practical needs is crucial during this time of heightened scrutiny.

Some businesses, like function halls, face difficulties in paying workers in cash and farmers rely on cash for selling produce, making income tax compliance complicated. This hinders efforts to transition to digital payments.
