According to sources within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the reshuffle of the Union Council of Ministers is expected to happen on Wednesday. However, if there is a delay, the entire process will be completed by Saturday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reportedly eager to finish the reshuffle before he leaves for a visit to France on July 14.
This reshuffle is said to be the final one before the Lok Sabha polls and will be significant in scale. Some senior members may be assigned party work instead.
There are rumors that apart from including the Shiv Sena group led by Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar’s group, some members from the Akali Dal may also be added to the cabinet. It should be noted that the Akali Dal is re-joining the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
