Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police has banned Mohammed Asad, known for his criminal activities, from entering the city for a year. Police Commissioner CV Anand made this decision after examining Asad’s long list of crimes.
Asad, a resident of Biryani Shah Tekri, Kalapathar, has been involved in 11 criminal cases. His offenses include assault, attempted murder, rioting, extortion, and illegal arms possession. The Kalapathar police station has records of his criminal behavior, and he is notorious for intimidating locals, making them too scared to report or speak against him.
The police note highlighted that Asad has consistently disrupted peace in his area, posing a threat to public safety. The ban aims to restore confidence among residents and maintain law and order in the community.
