Indian Prime Minister Modi thanked Biden for the warm welcome and said that this ceremony was an honor for all 1.4 billion Indians. He also spoke about how the Indian community is enhancing India’s reputation in the US through their hard work and dedication.
Modi expressed confidence that their discussions on India-US relations would be positive and useful. He also mentioned that he has visited the White House many times as PM, but this was the first time that the gates were opened for such a large number of Indian-Americans.
