Woman arrested for defrauding APSP police by using fraudulent chit scheme in Mangalagiri

A woman and an outsourced employee working at Mangalagiri Tadepalli Municipal Corporation (MTMC) have been accused of deceiving the police and the public by running a chits scheme. The woman, named Sridevi, who lived near the Police Battalion area, convinced the Mangalagiri APSP Battalion to join the chits group and collected Rs. 12 crore. Sridevi was reportedly in a live-in relationship with an outsourcing employee at MTMC. After discovering that Sridevi had disappeared, the victims reported the incident to the Mangalagiri Rural Police, who registered a case based on the complaint of the APSP police.
