Hyderabad – A 28-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a minor boy, according to police reports on Saturday.
The woman worked as a maid and lived in the servant quarters of the same residential complex as the boy and his mother. Police say she coaxed the teenage boy, engaged in sexual activity with him, and later threatened him to stay silent.
The boy’s mother filed a complaint after learning about the incident. Based on her report, officers at the Jubilee Hills Police Station registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, which is designed to protect minors from sexual crimes.
Authorities have since taken the woman into custody. An ongoing investigation is underway to gather more details about the alleged assault.
