Hyderabad: On August 15, the Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC) celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day. Dr. Komal Kapoor, the Chief Executive of NFC, raised the National Flag as the Chief Guest of the event. She inspected a parade alongside the Commandant of CISF. The parade included performances by CISF members, NFC Fire Services, and local school children.
The celebration featured demonstrations by a dog squad and a Special Taskforce drill conducted by CISF. NFC Fire Service personnel also showcased a fire drill.
Dr. Kapoor spoke about the significance of Independence Day. She highlighted the achievements and progress of the Department of Atomic Energy and specifically the NFC. Dr. Kapoor urged school children to work diligently to achieve success in their futures.
