On Monday, Swarna Bharathi Institute of Science & Technology (SBIT) celebrated World Red Cross Day. The event took place on the college campus in Khammam. College Chairman Gundala Krishna, Khammam Red Cross Society chairman Dr Chandra Mohan, and society members were present. They explained the history and services of the Red Cross to the attendees.
During the celebration, the institution held essay and other competitions. The guests gave prizes to the students who won these competitions. The prizes were presented by Chairman Gundala Krishna.
Many people attended the event, including Dr G RajKumar, G Srinivas Rao, Dr AVV Siva Prasad, Dr G Subashchander, G Praveen Kumar, Dr J Ravindrababu, and others.
