The State Government has been collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers to install these charging stations under the PPP model since August 2022. According to Y Satish Reddy, the chairman of Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation, the PPP model has proven to be a successful approach to engage private players in supplying and installing public charging infrastructure. This will help to promote sustainable transportation in the State, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas.
