Former MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy, who is planning to join the Congress party, has called on other senior leaders from the BJP to join him. He believes that this will lead to the defeat of the BRS party, as both parties are similar. After being suspended from the saffron party, he hinted that he would be leaving to join the grand old party.

In a media statement, Reddy urged former minister and BJP MLA Eatala Rajender, as well as Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, D Ravindra Naik, and Vivek, to unite and fight under one flag. He reminded them of the talks they had with the Congress in the past.

Reddy, who was suspended for opposing his party’s actions, alleged that he received a show-cause notice simply for questioning his party’s decisions. He highlighted his involvement in the Telangana movement and criticized the BJP’s lack of focus on rural votes. He also accused the BRS and BJP of working together, especially after Rajgopal Reddy’s recent defeat in the Munugodu byelection.

Reddy questioned why the BJP was wasting its efforts on AIMIM, a party with only a few seats in the Assembly and one MP seat in Telangana. He emphasized that the fight should be against Owaisis, as stated by Amit Shah, and suggested that Bandi Sanjay would be more effective as BJP president. He pointed out that under Sanjay’s leadership, the BJP’s vote share increased to 22 percent.
