Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is confident that his party will make a strong comeback in the 2029 elections. He believes that the challenges the party is currently facing are only temporary.
Speaking to party MLCs at his camp office in Amaravati, Jagan criticized the TDP for not demanding special status despite having a significant number of seats in the Lok Sabha. He also expressed disappointment in the attacks on YSRCP cadre and property after the election results were announced.
Jagan highlighted the successful implementation of various welfare schemes during his government’s tenure and emphasized the importance of staying connected with the people. He urged his party members to remain resilient in the face of adversity and assured them of a brighter future.
The former CM emphasized the ethical need to grant opposition status to a single party in the State Assembly and expressed confidence in the YSRCP’s ability to gain more support in the coming days. Jagan also reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling the promises made in the party’s manifesto and delivering good governance to the people.
Looking ahead to the next election cycle, Jagan reminded his supporters that their character values and trustworthiness would ultimately determine their success. He encouraged them to stay strong in the face of challenges and remain focused on serving the people.
