National BJP spokesperson and former MP Zaffar Islam accused both the BRS and Congress of pretending to fight each other in the upcoming elections. According to him, it is just a strategy to deceive the public. He criticized Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for not taking action against TPCC president A Revanth Reddy in the ‘note-for-vote’ case, suggesting that this proves the secret alliance between BRS and Congress in corrupt activities.

Islam claimed that the AIMIM is controlling both the Congress and BRS, and they are essentially the same. These parties pretend to oppose each other but actually collude to fool the people. He also criticized their focus on protecting their own families rather than working for the benefit of the public.

Islam questioned Rahul Gandhi’s knowledge about KCR, who was a part of Manmohan Singh’s Cabinet. He mocked Rahul Gandhi’s statement that if Congress comes to power in Telangana, they would expose corruption in the Kaleshwaram project and make the CM pay back illegally acquired money. Referring to the Congress’ rule from 2004 to 2014, he alleged widespread corruption.

Islam pointed out that both the BRS and Congress have a history of supporting each other in elections. Congress has previously supported BRS in 2014 and 2018, with Congress MLAs joining BRS during those terms.
