ZP chief Kamal Raj reveals increased government allocation for health and education

Zilla Praja Parishad Chairman Lingala Kamalraj stated that the state government is giving special attention to education and health sectors and investing a lot of money to improve them. He held a special governing body meeting of the Zilla Praja Parishad on Tuesday.

During the meeting, he mentioned that the state is highly advanced in terms of health and education. The sub-centres and primary health centers are providing excellent facilities and treatment to the underprivileged. He also emphasized the need to take precautions against seasonal diseases during the rainy season. Public representatives should create awareness about cleanliness and dry days. Kamalraj assured that there is no scarcity of drinking water due to the abundance of ponds and reservoirs.

The chairman called for coordination between officials and public representatives to provide better services to the people. MLC Tatha Madhusudan and MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah highlighted the government’s increased funding for the development of education, health, and agriculture. They unveiled a booklet on ten years of development in Khammam district, as well as posters on dengue awareness and control measures.
