During the 79th Independence Day event at St. Rose Mary High School, Mohd Mohidduin Quarrath, a High Court advocate, presented the volleyball trophy to the victorious 10th-grade girls’ team. Zakiya Begum, the school secretary, and Principal Sadia Parvez were also present.
The 10th graders won against the 9th-grade team in straight sets, scoring 21–17 and 21–15. Teachers, students, and supporters cheered on the players, celebrating both their sports achievement and national pride.
