Hyderabad: Police arrested a software worker for allegedly behaving inappropriately with a flight attendant on a flight from Dubai to Hyderabad.
The cabin crew reported that the passenger, originally from Kerala, touched a female attendant while she was working on Friday. Inspector Kankaiah Samapathi from the RGI Airport police station confirmed the complaint, and the man faces charges of sexual harassment.
The crew noted that the man, in his 30s, seemed drunk during the flight. Once the plane landed, the captain and ground staff were informed.
Upon arrival, the passenger said he lost his passport in his seat. When staff searched for it, they discovered a note with offensive and inappropriate comments about the crew.
Based on the crew’s report, authorities filed a case under Section 74, Section 75, and other relevant laws of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The suspect was arrested and taken to court, where he was placed in judicial custody.
