    The 72nd Miss World Festival has named the top 20 finalists of the highly regarded Head-to-Head Challenge, after a powerful first round held in Telangana, India. This part of the competition highlights each contestant’s voice, vision, and dedication to social change.

    All 107 contestants from around the globe took the stage to speak on personal and global topics that matter deeply to them. From mental health to education, sustainability to cultural identity, their speeches reflected strong values and deep commitment.

    The chosen 20 finalists stood out for their powerful storytelling, clarity of thought, and passion for making an impact. They showed bravery, intelligence, and authenticity in every word they spoke.

    Here are the finalists who will move on to the final round of the Head-to-Head Challenge:

    Jasmine Gerhardt – Ireland

    Americas & Caribbean Region:
    Jessica Pedroso – Brazil
    Chenella Rozendaal – Suriname
    Jada Ramoon – Cayman Islands
    Zalika Samuels – Guyana
    Anna-Lise Nanton – Trinidad and Tobago

    Anudi Gunasekara – Sri Lanka

    Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg – South Africa
    Selma Carlicia Kamanya – Namibia

    These finalists will compete in the final round today, May 23, where they will once again speak on their chosen causes. Their passion and purpose will help determine the ultimate winner of this meaningful challenge.

    Julia Morley CBE, Chair and CEO of the Miss World Organisation, praised all participants. She said their words carried truth, bravery, and inspiration. “These women have not only spoken—they’ve been heard. Their voices are shaping a more caring and inclusive world,” she added.

    With its rich culture and progressive spirit, Telangana is the perfect place to host this global event. As the final round begins, the world watches these young women redefine leadership through purpose and heart.
