Hyderabad: On Friday, the Hyderabad City Police celebrated the hard work of its officers and staff from January to June 2025. They held a grand ceremony to honor 446 individuals for their outstanding efforts in solving cases during these six months.
CV Anand, the city’s police commissioner, praised the dedication of officers and staff who work tirelessly to manage crime in Hyderabad. He expressed his appreciation and congratulated everyone involved.
The event took place at the CP Office Auditorium in the ICCC Building, Banjara Hills. Awards were given to a diverse group, including 2 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs), 49 Inspectors, 38 Sub-Inspectors (SIs), 21 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), 30 Head Constables, 220 Police Constables, 11 Home Guards, 45 Ministerial Staff, and 25 Public and Assistant Public Prosecutors, along with 5 others.
This recognition program aimed to acknowledge the exceptional work in light of the challenges faced by the Hyderabad City Police departments.
During the ceremony, Commissioner CV Anand commended the police for maintaining order and safety in the city. He acknowledged the difficulties in ensuring justice for a population of 8 million with diverse criminal activities. Despite these challenges, the police effectively manage daily security tasks and promptly address crimes, which has earned them nationwide recognition.
