    Amaravati recently announced the final list of candidates for the upcoming elections on May 13. There are 454 candidates running for 25 Lok Sabha seats and 2,387 candidates running for 175 Assembly seats.

    During the nomination phase, a total of 503 nominations were filed for Lok Sabha seats and 2,705 nominations were filed for Assembly seats. Some candidates withdrew their nominations, leaving 49 candidates for Lok Sabha seats and 318 candidates for Assembly seats.

    Visakhapatnam has 33 candidates in the fray, while Rajahmundry has the lowest number of candidates at 12. The Tirupati Assembly Constituency has the highest number of candidates with 46, while Chodavaram has the lowest with only six candidates.
