Hyderabad: The Telangana Police Department has transferred a total of 79 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) in a major reshuffle announced on Monday. The order, issued by the State Director General of Police (DGP), affects 77 officers currently serving in DSP-level positions.
Among the key transfers, N Venkata Swamy, who was the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) at Central Crime Station (CCS), Ramagundam, will now serve as the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) in Jagtial. He replaces D Raghuchander, who has been shifted to the Intelligence wing.
P Naresh Reddy has moved from the Intelligence department to become the ACP of Balanagar. In another change within the Intelligence wing, Ch Sreedhar has been appointed as ACP, Madhapur, taking over from Ch Sreekanth, who will now head to ACP, Chikkadpally.
The reshuffle also includes L Ramesh Kumar, former ACP of Chikkadpally, who has been directed to report at the DGP's office for a new role.
Other notable postings include:
– S Saidaiah as the new ACP, Mahankali
– Md Waheeduddin taking charge of Traffic-VI (South Zone)
– P Sadaiah now leading Warangal CCS (Crimes)
Several officers who were awaiting assignments also received new postings. DSP Neti Srinivas has been appointed as SDPO, Parigi in Vikarabad, while E Ravi Kiran Reddy will now serve as ACP, Kukatpally.
This large-scale transfer aims to strengthen law enforcement across the state and bring fresh leadership to key zones.
