Minor arrested for bike theft, 5 stolen bikes recovered

The Hussainialam police in Hyderabad have arrested a minor involved in bike theft. The police recovered five stolen bikes worth ₹2.30 lakh from him.

According to officials, the case began on March 6 when a man named Mohd Aizaz, who works in the Electricity Department, filed a complaint. He reported that his bike was missing from where he had parked it near his house. After receiving the complaint, the police started an investigation.

ACP Charminar, P. Chandra Shekar, stated that on Monday, the police noticed a minor behaving suspiciously while riding a stolen bike. When questioned, the boy admitted that he and a friend had stolen multiple two-wheelers from different areas.

The arrested minor was presented before the V Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate in Hyderabad, while the other suspect is currently missing. The police are working to find and arrest the second suspect.
