Khammam: On Monday, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy visited Tirumalayapalem mandal to start several new projects.

In Ajmira Thanda, he began the repair work for the Ajmira Thanda to Rakasi Thanda Road High Level Bridge Approach Road. This project will cost Rs 2.50 crore. Additionally, a new BT road from Hyder Sai Peta to Sirolu (Aakeru) will be constructed for Rs 1.65 crore, and another road from Hyder Sai Peta to Chilakkoyalapadu for Rs 90 lakh.

In Jallepalli village, a BT road from Jallepalli to Devunigutta is set to be built for Rs 4.18 crore. The village will also see new cement roads costing Rs 83 lakh and improved drinking water facilities for Rs 6 lakh.

Significant projects include the Gopalapuram Jallepalli Road Bridge, which was destroyed by floods last year. This will be rebuilt for Rs 33 crore. Other roads, like the Patharlapadu Cross Road to Ravi Chettu Thanda Road and Patharlapadu Cross Road to Jallepalli Road, will be constructed for Rs 20 crore and Rs 27 crore, respectively.

Minister Reddy announced that the Paleru Maripeda Road project has received Rs 16 crore in funding, with work commencing soon. He also mentioned that Sublaid village will undergo development projects amounting to Rs 35 crore.
