Market Yard Chairman Doddappa Visits Indiramma Houses and Plants Trees in Uppal Camp

Gadwal: Today, Bingi Doddi Doddappa, Chairman of Alampur Market Yard, visited Uppal Camp in Ieeja Mandal. He checked the progress of new homes being built under the Indiramma Housing Scheme. This program, led by the Telangana State Government, aims to provide homes for those in need.

During his visit, Chairman Doddappa spoke with future homeowners. He shared that the Telangana Government, guided by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is dedicated to helping every poor family achieve the goal of owning a decent home. He praised the Indiramma housing initiative as a key project for social welfare and inclusive growth.

After inspecting the housing projects, the Chairman joined a Vanamahotsavam or tree planting event with Ieeja Sub-Inspector of Police, Srinivasa Rao. They planted saplings throughout the village. Doddappa stressed the need for more trees to maintain ecological balance. He urged each family to plant at least six saplings to help create a greener Telangana.

Many local officials and residents participated eagerly, including Village Secretary Manjula, Field Assistant Timmappa, and former Sarpanch Lakshmanna. Senior Congress Leaders such as Karreanna, Minor Babu, Basavaraju, Krishna Reddy, Mahesh, Lal Goud, and Rajanandam also attended. Numerous village leaders, party members, and housing scheme beneficiaries were present.

The event underscored the government’s dedication to rural housing and environmental care while fostering community engagement in both social and green projects.
