    A group of officials from the Election Commission of India (ECI) have arrived in Hyderabad to assess Telangana’s readiness for upcoming Assembly Elections. The team includes Senior Deputy Election Commissioners Dharmendra Sharma and Nitesh Kumar Vyas, as well as Deputy Election Commissioner R.K.Gupta.

    The team will be in Telangana for three days, and will visit various districts to check on preparations. They met with the state’s Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Vikas Raj upon arrival, who briefed them on the status of electronic voting machines and the voters list.

    During their visit, the ECI officials will be examining the arrangements made for the elections to ensure that everything is in order.
