Telangana Hands Over Dharani Portal Management to NIC

The Telangana government has decided to transfer the responsibility of managing land records to the National Informatics Centre (NIC). This means that NIC will now be in charge of operating the Dharani portal, which is the state’s system for managing land records. NIC will handle the portal’s operations for the next three years.

This decision was made to improve the way land records are maintained and to ensure more transparency. NIC, a well-known government technology organization, will manage the technical aspects of the portal. Their job will include making sure the data is accurate and helping to provide better services to the public.
