A complaint has been filed with the Cyber Crime Department in Hyderabad about a Facebook Reel that insults the Prime Minister of India.
Perala Shekhar Rao submitted this complaint on Wednesday. He claims the user “Drhelpai” posted content with inappropriate language, breaking social media rules and Indian cyber laws.
Rao’s complaint to the Deputy Commissioner of Police requests a prompt investigation. He calls for legal action against the creator and the removal of the offensive post. He stressed that such content is cyber abuse and defames a public figure.
Rao included screenshots of the Reel as proof. He hopes the Cyber Crime Department will act quickly to protect public discourse and stop digital platforms from being used for character attacks.
