    The IMA zone-2 academic conference was held at the Pratima Multiplex in Karimnagar on Sunday. The meeting was led by Dr BN Rao and organized by Dr Jaganmohan Rao, Dr Kiran Polasa, Dr MLN Reddy, Dr Venkatreddy, and Dr Amith Kumar. About 200 doctors from different districts participated in the conference.

    During the conference, doctors discussed various topics including cancer prevention, heart disease dizziness, brain-related diseases, and insomnia. They emphasized the importance of sleep and how lack of understanding about it has led to an increase in sleep-related diseases. Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder, affecting 90% of people with sleep-related issues.

    Dr Harshini spoke about the importance of treating insomnia as a disease and providing proper treatment. She encouraged those suffering from sleep-related disorders to attend conferences like this to gain a better understanding of their problem and find ways to address it.

    The doctors also expressed their concerns about the mixopathy policy and urged against registering cases against doctors or hospitals without proper evidence. They also condemned attacks on hospitals, stating that such actions are not beneficial for anyone.
