Secunderabad hosted a major dental event, “Kaleidoscope 4 (2k25)”, organized by the Army College of Dental Sciences (ACDS) with the Indian Association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics (IACDE). This two-day national conference gathered top experts in dental science from across India.
Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Mamta Kaushik, the event included keynote talks, scientific paper presentations, and interactive sessions. Attendees explored the newest developments in conservative dentistry and endodontics. The conference provided a valuable opportunity for students, researchers, and professionals to share knowledge and collaborate.
The opening ceremony welcomed Major General Ajay Misra, the General Officer Commanding of Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA) and Chairman of ACDS. He praised the college’s achievements in academic excellence. Dr. Dibyendu Mazumdar, former President of the Dental Council of India, and Dr. PV Nanda Kumar Reddy, Vice Chancellor of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), also attended.
Dr. Nanda Kumar Reddy highlighted ACDS’s success in producing top students, with many joining the prestigious ICMR-Short Term Studentship program. He noted that ACDS stands out as the only dental college in Telangana ranked among the top 10 in India, thanks to its focus on discipline and innovation.
Dr. Mazumdar commended ACDS for its high standards in dental education and clinical training. He stressed the importance of such conferences in developing future leaders in dentistry and promoting evidence-based practices.
The event confirmed ACDS’s status as a leader in dental education, research, and community service. It attracted participants from dental colleges nationwide, offering a dynamic space to explore new trends and technologies in dentistry.
