Actor Abhishek has been arrested in connection with a drugs case. Charges have been filed against him at both SR Nagar and Jubilee Hills police stations. Earlier, the court had issued an arrest warrant after Abhishek failed to attend hearings related to the case.
According to police sources, Abhishek had been avoiding authorities for some time. He was reportedly running a restaurant in Goa while he was on the run. His arrest is part of a larger effort to crack down on drug-related offenses in the film industry.
The police are now conducting further investigations. Abhishek is expected to be questioned about his involvement in the drugs case.
