Officials Inspect Nursery and Anganwadi Center in Nirmal District
Nirmal: District Local Bodies Additional Collector Faizan Ahmed has instructed officials to ensure that plants are grown in nurseries before the Vanamahotsavam programme begins.
On Saturday, he visited New Lolam village in Dilawarpur mandal. During his visit, he inspected the nursery in the village and checked the growth of the plants.
He also gave instructions to the Gram Panchayat secretary and Employment Guarantee Field Assistants. He directed them to make sure that plants are ready and available in time for the Vanamahotsavam programme.
Later, he visited the Anganwadi center in the village. He praised the quality of food provided to the children there. He also appreciated the Anganwadi teacher for creating an attractive learning environment with toys, paintings, and other facilities for the children.
The visit was attended by Nirmal CDPO Nagamani, Panchayat Secretary Shravan, Employment Guarantee Field Assistant Mahesh, the Anganwadi teacher, and other officials and staff.
