    Nalgonda: Minister for Roads, Buildings, and Cinematography, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, encouraged young people to look up to Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram as a role model. On Saturday, he paid tribute to Jagjivan Ram by garlanding his statue near NG College at Marriguda Bypass, in honor of the leader’s 118th birth anniversary.

    The Minister announced that an Advanced Technology Center will be launched on April 7 in the district. This center is expected to create job opportunities for the youth. He also urged people to lead a disciplined life and work towards fulfilling the dreams of Jagjivan Ram.

    To improve local infrastructure, Komatireddy directed the District Collector to use Rs 25 lakh from the District Mineral Fund for repairs to Ambedkar Bhavan in the district headquarters. He also promised to add more funds from his own MLA quota.

    Speaking about support for Dalits, he mentioned that the Rajiv Yuva Vikas scheme offers many self-employment opportunities. He encouraged Dalit youth to take advantage of these programs.

    Additionally, the Minister said a special SC Study Center has been set up in the district. Since the current district library is in poor condition, a new model library will soon be built.

    He also announced plans for a new Young India Residential School at SLBC. The school will be built on 25 acres and will offer education from 6th to 12th grade for students from all communities. He said the government has already approved Rs 30 crore for the project, and tenders will be invited next month.
