The Telangana State government has launched a Telugu version of an AI booklet through the Telangana AI Mission (T-AIM). The booklet aims to provide an easy-to-understand introduction to AI for people of all ages and backgrounds. With the Telugu version, the Telugu-speaking community can access this information and make informed decisions about using AI in their daily lives. The language is simple enough for children to understand.
Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary (ITE&C), Rama Devi Lanka, Director-Emerging Technologies Wing (ITE&C), and Praveen Mokkapati, Lead for T-AIM, presided over the launch. This is a significant step in making educational resources about AI accessible to more people. Jayesh Ranjan stated that the launch is committed to using technology for the betterment of the people, and this is a step towards that goal.
