Hyderabad: The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has called for a nationwide strike on October 3 as part of the second phase of the ‘Save Waqf, Save Constitution Campaign’. They are inviting people from all communities to join the strike by closing their businesses until 2 pm.

This decision came after a meeting in Hyderabad with AIMPLB members and representatives from various groups. Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, the president of AIMPLB, led the session.

The group aims to protect Waqf properties and is urging the government to let Muslims peacefully protest the Waqf Act 2025. They have asked everyone to support the strike by shutting their shops and businesses from 8 am to 2 pm and to put up protest posters.
