On Friday, a celebration was held in Alampur constituency to honor the 132nd birth anniversary of Dr. BR Ambedkar. He was the architect of India’s constitution and is known for his immense contributions to the upliftment of the poor and downtrodden. Alampur BRS youth leader R Kishore participated in the celebration and garlanded the statue of Dr. Ambedkar in Valluru village.
During the celebration, Kishore emphasized that Dalits and other suppressed communities are enjoying welfare and development because of the constitution written by Ambedkar. He also spoke about Ambedkar’s global recognition as an intellectual and his efforts to promote social justice and equality.
Kishore urged people to not only establish idols of Ambedkar in every village but also follow his ideology of removing untouchability, discrimination, and promoting equality and social justice. He called upon employees to contribute their services and help weaker sections while performing their duties.
