On Friday, CPM leader Julakanti Ranga Reddy spoke to party workers in Miryalguda. He said that the Central government is making the employment guarantee scheme weaker by not giving it enough money. This is causing problems for people who rely on the scheme for work. Reddy is worried that this year, the government is giving less money to the scheme than last year. This means that people who need work are not getting paid on time.

Reddy demanded that the government give more money to the employment guarantee scheme and pay people on time. He said that the scheme was created after many protests and it’s important to keep it strong. If the government doesn’t listen, he warned that there will be more protests.
