Gadwal: MLA Vijayudu from Alampur Constituency distributed 289 cheques to eligible families under the Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes. These schemes help economically weaker families with marriage expenses for their daughters. The distribution took place at the MLA’s camp office on Alampur X Road, covering five mandals: Ayija, Itikyala, Erravalli, Rajoli, and Undavelli.
During the event, MLA Vijayudu promised to prioritize the welfare and development of Alampur. He emphasized his duty to connect the government with the people, ensuring that all eligible individuals benefit from welfare programs.
Many senior leaders from the BRS party, along with elected representatives and local workers, attended the event.
On the same day, MLA Vijayudu also provided financial aid from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to two individuals in Itikyala Mandal. Harijan Prakasham received ₹15,000, while Harijan Shankaraiah got ₹16,500 to help with their financial or medical needs. Both expressed their gratitude for this support.
These efforts showcase the Telangana government’s commitment to supporting marginalized communities, especially in rural areas. The initiatives not only offer financial relief but also enhance social support for those in need.
