The Telangana BJLP leader, Aleti Maheshwar Reddy, criticized the State Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy’s statements about alleged irregularities in the paddy procurement and civil supplies department. Reddy dismissed the minister’s remarks as empty and reiterated his claim that there was a scam worth hundreds of crores in the civil supplies department. He also accused the minister of avoiding directly addressing the 19 questions he had posed.
Reddy stated that the minister’s responses were mere empty rhetoric and announced his plans to reveal more information about the alleged scam on Monday.
