Mancherial: Kokkirala Premsagar Rao is the MLA of Mancherial and a notable figure in Telangana politics. He comes from Dharmaraopet in Kasipetmandal.
Premsagar Rao started his political career as a member of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) from 1999 to 2001. He then served as PCC secretary from 2002 to 2005.
Between 2004 and 2006, he was a board member of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). He also served as the chairman of the DCCB bank for the joint district from 2005 to 2007.
From 2007 to 2013, Premsagar Rao was an MLC of the erstwhile Adilabad district. Following this, he was an AICC member from 2013 to 2023.
In the 2023 Assembly elections, he was elected as the MLA of Mancherial with a significant margin of 66,116 votes, highlighting his popularity and the trust of the people.
