Hyderabad faced another scare on Tuesday when a large fire broke out at a building in Chatrinaka, located in the city’s Old City area. This incident adds to growing concerns, coming shortly after the tragic Gulzar Houz fire that claimed 17 lives.

The fire started in a shoe warehouse on the second floor of a three-storey (G+2) structure in Boyiguda. The building serves both residential and commercial purposes. As the flames spread, people inside quickly evacuated and alerted emergency services.

The Chatrinaka police arrived promptly. Two fire engines from Chandrayanagutta and Moghalpura stations responded and managed to control the blaze before it could reach other parts of the building or pose a threat to nearby homes and shops.
